Art Quilts for our Virtual Community
Last spring while discussing summer programs, SCPL staff knew that some people were making art during Shelter in Place. Wouldn't it be good to encourage community members to work on something creative to help manage stress? And then to share that artwork with others? Thus was born the Virtual Art Quilt project. We solicited art images from all ages, and received over 30 images in all kinds of media from pencil to fabric to mud! We hope you will enjoy the way we've assembled these artworks into larger patterns to entice the eye. Thank you to everyone who participated, you warm our hearts.
