SCC Workforce Collaborative

The Santa Cruz County Workforce Collaborative is a grant funded partnership including the Santa Cruz Public Libraries, the Workforce Development Board of Santa Cruz County, the Monterey Bay Economic Partnership, Cabrillo College, Goodwill Central Coast, and Your Future is Our Business.

The Collaborative offers a holistic approach to assist jobseekers at various levels of need by bringing together information about local workforce programs in the library's Life Literacies Center, creating a roadmap of services, and providing bilingual, 1-on-1, and workshop-based support to individuals in navigating the career development process.

Goodwill Central Coast experts provide resume writing or interview skills workshops the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 10 am. They also provide these workshops in Spanish on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 10am. Our partners will present workshops on career development tools and resources in English on the 2nd Thursday of the month at 4pm and in Spanish on the 3rd Thursday of the month at 4pm. Participants are invited to attend virtually through Zoom or join us in the Downtown Branch Library Community Room to learn in a group setting. Registration is required. Register through the link in the calendar.

This project was supported in whole or in part by the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act, administered in California by the State Librarian.
