Printing Pilot Project A Success!
Printing services we piloted at the Downtown Branch Library was a huge success! The Felton Branch has been added to our Print Job Pick-Up locations. Now we're expanding Print Job Pick-Up to the Aptos and Scotts Valley Branches starting October 5th and to the Live Oak Branch starting October 6th. This service will be offered free of charge during curbside hours. Read the instructions on how this works here.
Free WiFi at 5 Branches
Free WiFi is available 24/7 at all 5 branches that are currently offering curbside pickup of holds. Those branches include: Aptos, Felton, Downtown, Live Oak, and Scotts Valley. We have extended the reach of our signal to 600 feet beyond each building. We just ask that you practice social distancing and wear a mask near others. Print List of Free WiFi Locations.
Internet Café Pilot
We're working on expanding other services to keep you connected too. A limited number of computers are available for use on a first come-first served basis at the Downtown Branch. Three computers offers 45 minute sessions, and 1 computer is be reserved for express 15 minute sessions. We are exploring ways to either expand Outdoor Internet Cafés to other branches or develop limited computing indoors.
