The renovation of the Boulder Creek Branch Library is one of five library projects approved by Measure S for the unincorporated area. Design and construction of these projects will be managed by the County of Santa Cruz in collaboration with Santa Cruz Public Libraries and the community.
Upgrades planned for Boulder Creek include accessibility, circulation desk, lighting, power, data, and other improvements.
At the January 24, 2017 regularly scheduled Santa Cruz County Board of Supervisors meeting, the Board received a report allocating $500,000 for the upgrades.
