Conversations for Change: Climate Solutions

We are all united by living in the climate of Earth, so how can we help make a positive impact?

Date:
Tuesday, April 13, 2021
Time:
5:30pm - 7:30pm

In this conversation for change we will explore climate change and personal actions that can have a positive impact. We will hear from Dr. Dione Lee Rossiter, the Executive Director of Science at Cal, UC Berkeley about the inner workings of climate change. Dr. Costanza Rampini, Assistant Professor in Environmental Studies at San Jose State University, will share about the ways that humans impact the environment and what we can do to collectively (re)create our everyday choices towards sustaining this beautiful planet. We will hear from our guest speakers and engage in community discussions to brainstorm ideas and talk about steps we can all take. Together let’s learn, engage, and discuss climate change solutions.

Conversations for Change are designed to foster greater understanding among individuals who may have different viewpoints. Participants in these small group conversations, guided by a trained host, practice being open and curious about all perspectives, with a focus on learning from one another.

Conversations for Change has moved online due the cancellation of library events caused by COVID-19.  This conversation will be taking place on the online Zoom meeting platform.

Space is limited. Registration is required.
