CARES ACT Emergency Assistance for Rent | Asistencia De Emergencia Para Renta
CARES Act Emergency Rental Assistance is available for Santa Cruz County unincorporated residents who have suffered a financial hardship caused by COVID-19. Documentation will be required to verify the financial hardship caused by COVID-19. Assistance can be applied towards past due rent and/or utilities incurred after April 1, 2020. Eligible utilities include electricity, gas, water and garbage. Assistance can cover a maximum of 6 months in past rent and/or utilities with a limit of $10,000 per household.
English and Spanish Applications will be open Friday October 30th, 2020 @ 8:30 a.m. until Monday November 16th, 2020 @5:00 p.m.

- Applicants may pick up and drop off paper applications, Monday - Friday 8:30a.m. to 5:00p.m., at either of the following locations:

Debe vivir en un area no incorporada del Condado de Santa Cruz (Fuera de los limites de la ciudad). Fondos disponibles solo para renta atrazada y/ o servicios publicos. Debe haber sufrido una dificultad financiera debido a Covid-19 ( Se requiere documentacion). Debe estar por debajo del 80% del ingreso medio del area.
