Do you enjoy audio books, podcasts and YouTube videos? Well then make sure to check out Evening Reads with Anna!
Evening Reads with Anna is an adult storytime that is pre-recorded and posted to our YouTube channel weekly on Friday evening at 8:00pm. If you can't make at that time, do not worry, you will be able to view these anytime on the SCPL Youtube. Every week Anna will read a chapter of a book out loud and ask some conversation questions at the end of the videos that you can reply to in the comments. These are not books intended for children. She will be starting with Neil Gaiman's Stardust, which has 10 chapters plus an epilogue.
Anna has lived in Santa Cruz County most of her life and loves it here. Her love for books and helping people led her to work at the Santa Cruz Public Libraries. Starting six years ago, first as a library Aide and now Library Assistant. She loves writing, reading, singing, dancing, art, silly movies and silly people. She has recently been exploring narration and voice acting in her free time and is excited to have this opportunity to bring so many of her interests together. She hopes you will enjoy the story and continue to tune in weekly for a new chapter.
