A community support group, the Friends of the Farm and Garden, concentrates on outreach to the community via free lecture series, workshops and classes on a monthly basis. Members receive a subscription to the News and Notes newsletter.

Tours: Both the 30-acre UCSC Farm and 3-acre Alan Chadwick Garden are open to the public daily from 8am to 6pm, with a self-guided tour brochure available at the Farm entrance. Large groups can call 459-3240 to schedule a group tour and for directions to the farm and garden.
