State Legislature

The offices of elected members of the body that is responsible for making statutory laws for the state. In most states, the legislature is bicameral in structure, usually consisting of two branches, i.e., an upper house (e.g., State Senate) and a lower house (e.g., State Assembly or State Representatives).
