Description: | Encompass Community Services (formerly Santa Cruz Community Counseling Center), a California 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation, has been serving Santa Cruz County since 1973. At Encompass Community Services we provide our community with a wide range of services related to family & social well-being, early childhood education, behavioral health, housing and more. Every day through these services we work to make health, education and housing more equitable for all people in Santa Cruz County. For more than 40 years our work has touched generations by helping people have access to education, rebuild relationships, restore their health and regain dignity. FUNDING SOURCE: Encompass programs are funded through a wide variety of funding sources, including government entities at the school district, city, county, state, and federal levels. Funds for services also come from foundations, corporations, service clubs, third party insurers, and individual clients |
Programs: | CHILD & FAMILY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS: Providing early childhood education, social services and parent education to families with young children. COMMUNITY RECOVERY SERVICES: provides residential and outpatient drug and alcohol recovery services for adults at facilities throughout Santa Cruz and Watsonville. COMMUNITY SUPPORT SERVICES: Offering a place of acceptance, hope, and healing. CSS serves individuals who are challenged by loss, poverty and stigma associated with a diagnosis of mental illness or experience as a foster youth. YOUTH SERVICES: helps children, youth and families find positive solutions to issues related to school, family conflicts, substance use, homelessness, emotional turmoil and juvenile justice involvement. |
