| Description: | Health Projects Center (HPC), established in 1980 as a 503(c) non-profit organization, offers health-related and social programs to health professionals, older adults and family caregivers. Health Projects Center exists to address the health and human needs of individuals, families and communities of California's Central Coast by developing and implementing high quality programs and strategies. ELIGIBILITY: Any member of the public may call for information and referral. FEES: No charge for information, referral, needs assessment or family consultation. Sliding scale for respite and counseling service. AREAS SERVED: Health Projects Center serves the Monterey Bay region of California, and hosts the Del Mar Caregiver Resource Center, Multipurpose Senior Services Program, and the Central Coast Area Health Education Center. FUNDING SOURCE: State of California (Department of Mental Health); State of California (Department on Aging); Federal Family Caregiver Support Act (AAA); San Benito United Way; Sliding Scale Fees; Private Donations. |

We have openings for long-term interns and short-term volunteers in our Santa Cruz and Salinas offices.
