Our goal is to provide high quality yet affordable psychotherapy and counseling services to individuals, couples, families, and groups. We provide services on a sliding scale, meaning that our fees are based upon your income. ELIGIBILITY: Services are available to all, so long as treatment is within our scope of practice. We are able to partner with other specialists (such as psychiatrists and psychologists) in order to support as many clients as possible. | Mission: | Shine a Light Counseling Center is a 501(c)3 non-profit counseling center offering services on a sliding scale based on monthly income or the client's ability to pay. We have two purposes; one as a charitable organization that offers counseling services to those who would not otherwise be able to afford these services, those who do not have insurance coverage, or those who choose to not use their existing coverage. The second purpose is to be a training facility for mental health clinicians who are collecting hours in order to obtain their licenses. |
