| Description: | The Independent Living Program (ILP) assists current and former foster youth aged 15-21 to develop independent living skills and achieve educational/vocational goals to successfully transition to self-sufficiency. The program offers a variety of services covering a wide range of life skill topics, including: Budget/money management Self-esteem Education Financial Aid Decision making Healthy relationships and lifestyles Housing Employment Health and nutrition The Human Services Department works in collaboration with the Santa Cruz Community Counseling Center to provide Independent Living Program services to foster youth in Santa Cruz County. |
