English Healthline: 800.376.4636
En EspaƱol: 888.442.2237

The Access Hotline provides free, confidential and nonjudgmental information, referrals, peer counseling and advocacy on the full range of reproductive health services including abortion, birth control, pregnancy, prenatal care, pap smears and gyn care, infertility, and STD testing and treatment. We connect women with public insurance programs that pay for this care, such as FamilyPACT, Medi-Cal or AIM. We also refer to organizations that can help with other issues such as domestic violence, sexual assault, drug addiction, homelessness, child-care or job discrimination. We offer a dedicated full-time Spanish hotline, and additional languages are available by interpreter.
Mission: ACCESS Women's Health Justice removes barriers to sexual and reproductive health care and builds the power of Californians to demand health, justice and dignity.
Programs: Healthline
The heart of our work is our bilingual Healthline, which connects women and girls throughout California to information, referrals and advocacy on sexual and reproductive health issues.

Policy Advocacy
We conducte administrative, legislative, media and grassroots advocacy, relaying the everyday experiences and barriers women and girls face to administrators, policymakers, and voters.

Community Action
We believe that in order to create an authentic reproductive justice movement that truly views women in the context of their lives, we must build community support for women seeking reproductive health care, including abortion.
Volunteer Info: ACCESS is committed to centering, developing, and supporting the leadership of volunteers who represent the communities who call us - in particular, people of color, transfolx and gender non-conforming/non-binary folx, people who have lived experience with abortion, and women who have faced intersecting barriers accessing reproductive health services.
