Description: Only those documents that are authorized by law can be recorded. Documents will be accepted for recording until 3:00 pm. Documents received between 3:01 and 4:00 pm will be recorded the next business day.
Examples of typical documents that can be recorded are:
Real Property Records - deeds, leases, notice of completions
Maps - subdivisions, parcel maps, surveys
Mining Claim Records - notices of location, proofs of labor
Military Discharge Papers
Declarations of Homestead
Mechanics' Liens
Federal Tax Liens
Financing Documents - trust deeds, notices of default, reconveyances, financing statements

Examples of documents that can not be recorded:
Negotiable Instruments, Stocks, Bonds, Money, Wills and Marriage Licenses.
