What should I sell on eBay?

Barb Galloway returned with a different presentation than her introduction on how to sell on eBay, and 54 people attended! This session featured types of items one can sell on eBay, and the different types of seller profiles one can choose. She gave some pros and cons and some specialized tips for every type of seller, from wholesalers who need loads of storage to "drop-ship" sellers who need none, from consignment sellers who sell for others, to producers of homemade crafts or producers of knowledge and information.

Viral Marketing

Viral Marketing is the marketing phenomenon that facilitates and encourages people to pass along a marketing message...word of mouth becomes word of keystroke. It is the personal communication about a product between target buyers and their friends, relatives, and associates.

As Iris Kavanagh of NextSpace Santa Cruz says, " it is a dialogue, not a monologue." For over an hour on June 10, Iris talked about the explosion of social technology. Did you know that so many images are stored on Flickr that it equates to 2 images for every person on the planet? That there are 3 million tweets a day? Small businesses are part of the mix.
