Library Services - Text Enlarger

In October 2008, the library purchased a text enlarger with funds from the McCaskill Trust. The enlarger, called a Telesensory Aladdin Apex Pro, will help people with limited vision to magnify print or writing. It is easy to use. No reservations are required.

The Aladdin Apex Pro 20" screen enlarger will:

  • display and enlarge text from books, periodicals, letters, pill bottles, coins and other print sources
  • change background and foreground colors of text or images to assist people in reading or writing
  • allow a person to use horizontal or vertical lines or mask portions of text

Patrons may contact Pam Downing at (831) 427-7707 ext. 7752 or email if they have questions or need more information about the equipment.

You Can Do That @ the Library?!

Share Your Story

Join a community project, "We Have Stories To Tell" which unites children with family members, senior citizens and library staff to encourage the development of literacy skills through story telling. Children have the opportunity to make their own books in which they portray the story they are telling with illustrations of their own design.

See our Calendar, Online Catalog or Branch pages for more details and contact information.
