Martin Luther King Day of Service 2021

The Library Will be Closed on Monday, January 18th 2021 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.


Lobby Grab & Go as well as Telephone Information will not be operating on Monday, January 18th.

Our online catalog along with digital resources will still be available for use. We will be open our normal Lobby Service hours on Tuesday, January 19th. Please check our Lobby Grab & Go page for normal operating hours. 


Virtual Events in Santa Cruz in honor of MLK Day 2021:

Santa Cruz MAH is hosting Call for Collaboration: MLK Day Justice Journal now through February 19th. Share your dreams and submit a page into a community journal in celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

Santa Cruz Volunteer Center is offering a virtual way to Listen, Learn and Act with the archived, panel discussion RACIAL HEALING: UNDERSTANDING RACIAL IDENTITY, SYSTEMIC RACISM, AND HOW TO BECOME A RACIAL ALLY.

The Santa Cruz Chapter of the NAACP will be hosting a Virtual March for the Dream Monday the 18th at 12:00pm as well as a MLK Gospel Night live streamed on Saturday, January 16th at 6:30pm.
