Santa Cruz Young Makers

SCPL News

The Santa Cruz Young Makers Club brings together a community of young people with a mentor and a space to make. Led by Sasha, a young Makers Ed Mentor, projects inspire creativity, imagination, and support learning. Materials for projects are provided by SCPL. Ages 8 - 18.

Our mentor Sasha has participated in the Maker Ed program. She has been on panels at Intel, Pearson Learning, Pixar and Bay Area Maker Faire, and Young Makers. She has won awards at Synopsys Silicon Valley Science and Technology Championship and Santa Cruz County Science & Engineering Fair.
