Thank You to Our Sponsor

Thank you to all who joined us for the Grand Opening Celebration of the Veterans Information Center at the Santa Cruz Public Libraries Downtown Branch. Special Thanks are in order for our sponsor Kaiser Permanete, who provided delicious snacks for the celebration.

About the Veterans Information Center:
Our center is staffed with trained Volunteer Benefit Coaches who connect veterans and their families with local, state and federal resources on education, employment, housing, health and other available benefits. The Center also features a collection of books, resources, access to computers and a phone. The Veterans Information Center hours are weekly:

  • Mondays 1:00pm - 3:00pm
  • Tuesdays 10:00am - 12:00pm
  • Wednesdays 10:00am - 12:00pm
Librarians are also available for individual appointments.

SCPL also has a web page dedicated to veterans resources, located at santacruzpl.org/veterans. For more information about the Veterans Information Center, or to volunteer as a benefits coach, contact David Addison at (831) 427-7700 ext. 7671 or email vetconnect@santacruzpl.org.

This project was supported in whole or in part by the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act, administered in California by the State Librarian.
