NEW! DNA Research Group

Led by Dan Spelce, this Special Interest Group of the Genealogical Society of Santa Cruz County explores the use of DNA in genealogical research. Participants are encouraged to bring their lunch and eat it between this and the Genealogical Society General Meeting.

Genealogical Society Lecture Series: The War of 1812

The Genealogical Society of Santa Cruz County meets on the 1st Wednesday of each month and presents a different genealogical topic at each meeting. Martha Wallace will discuss the War of 1812, where to find records, and how this war would have influenced our ancestors.

NEW! Genealogy Research Group

La Selva Beach Library • 316 Estrella Ave.

This new group meets the 3rd Wednesday of each month to explore genealogy related research topics. Learn how to use the resources paid for by the library as well as other online sources to find all kinds of genealogical information. Laptops are provided, and you are welcome to bring your own as well.
