About Sandi Rechenmacher
Sandi has been a whole foods enthusiast since the 70’s when she (and her husband) owned a natural foods store. With degrees in education, nutrition, holistic health, herbs, and diabetes education, being a Food for Life instructor for PCRM comes naturally for her.

“Dr. Barnard's programs are the BEST means I've found for staying incredibly healthy and for sidestepping corporate control over my, my family’s, and my community's well-being. This is truly 'Food for People, Not for Profit.' I am honored to share this essential wisdom.”

What drives Sandi, is her enthusiasm and passion for sharing with others how to incorporate a healthy, plant-based diet into their lifestyle. Watch out, it's deliciously catchy! She knows that this is a step in helping her community make policy changes that support healthier food choices for ALL. Sandi currently teaches PCRM Food for Life classes publicly and privately, offers private nutrition consultations, cooks plant-based for special events, and enjoys creating seasonal meals out of her organic garden any day of the year.

The Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM) is a nonprofit organization advancing chronic disease prevention and survival through nutrition education and research since 1985.
