| Description: | The Diversity Center of Santa Cruz county is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping our lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer people flourish as full participants throughout our local community. Our walk-in center is a wonderful place to relax and browse our lending library of over 3000 titles with LGBT+ characters. We offer resources and information to our community through our online directory, phone call or walk-ins. Lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning, intersex, questioning, or any other identity as well as our allies are welcome here. |
| Mission: | The Diversity Center Santa Cruz County is building an equitable community where LGBTQ people thrive. Our Vision: To have a healthy, vibrant, and diverse LGBTQ community in Santa Cruz County, free from fear, hatred, and prejudice and safe in their persons, work, and homes; with a spirit of collaborative leadership that fosters the sharing of resources, talents, and gifts with each other and with the greater community. |
