Description: Offers a year round sports training program for developmentally disabled children and adults.

Santa Cruz County is proud to offer training and competitions in nine sports for Special Olympics athletes. Volunteers enjoy working with the athletes to prepare them for competitions. Santa Cruz County offers a wide range of skill levels so that athletes can train with their peers of equal playing ability.

Sports Offered:
aquatics, basketball, bocce, bowling, flag football, golf, soccer, softball, track & field.
Mission: Special Olympics Northern California provides athletic opportunities to children and adults with intellectual disabilities, instilling the confidence they need to succeed in life.
