Description: Counter Hours: Monday-Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm.

Water is a precious natural resource that is vital to our health and welfare and to the economy of the Central Coast region where we live. In the city of Santa Cruz, we rely entirely on local sources for our community’s drinking water supply.

Because our water supplies are limited, it is important that everyone uses water efficiently. The city of Santa Cruz has had a long-standing commitment to water conservation and offers a variety of programs, informational materials, and incentives to help city water customers become more water-efficient.

Further strengthening water conservation efforts had been identified as top priority by the Santa Cruz City Council, the City’s Water Commission, and more recently by the City’s Water Supply Alternatives Committee (WSAC). The WSAC recommended that there be additional effort made in expanding conservation programs into the future, with an emphasis on peak season water savings.
