Details
Description: PFLAG promotes the health and well-being of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered persons, their families and friends through: SUPPORT-to cope with an adverse society; EDUCATION-to enlighten an ill-informed public and ADVOCACY-to end discrimination and to secure equal civil rights. PFLAG provides an opportunity for dialogue about sexual orientation and gender identity, and acts to create a society that is respectful of human diversity.

The meaning of "support" for PFLAG has grown to include more people than just parents. PFLAG's support efforts provide encouragement and resources to parents, families, friends, as well as LGBT people themselves. In more recent years, we've added special outreach programs for transgender people and their loved ones and straight spouses of LGBT individuals.
Meetings: PFLAG of Santa Cruz County meets the 2nd Tuesday of every month at Peace United Church of Christ on High Street from 7-9 pm.
