Description: The Alzheimer's Association is the leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer's care, support and research. Providing information and referral, support and education to people with Alzheimer's disease or a related dementia and their care partners. Speakers available for community outreach and education. The Santa Cruz office is part of the Northern California and Northern Nevada Chapter of the national Alzheimer's Association.
Mission: Our mission is to eliminate Alzheimer's disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.
Volunteer Info: Minimum Age: 18. This organization needs help with office work, data entry and client support. We also need help with fund raising events such as our annual Walk to End Alzheimer's.
