Description: The Advocates for the Forest of Nisene Marks State Park is a non-profit volunteer organization that supports the maintenance and improvement of the park. The Advocates engage in a number of activities which support this goal.

These activities include:

Assist State Parks in the operation and maintenance of the park
Improve, maintain and patrol the hiking trails
Sponsor projects in the park
Work to balance the interests of various user groups
Communicate park user needs to State Park management
Fund capital improvements
