Description: This state and county facility provides "All Risk" fire department services to the area around the community of Corralitos. During the declared fire season the station staffs two CDF type three wildland fire engines available for statewide assignment. During the off season the county of Santa Cruz contracts with the CDF to provide personnel to staff county funded fire apparatus. This arrangement provides the Santa Cruz County Fire Department with year round 24/7 staffing. The Corralitos Volunteer Firefighters are also housed within the same facility and provide additional staffing.
