Password Managers

WorkshopsAre passwords driving you crazy?

Using strong passwords that are different for each online account is an essential strategy for keeping your identity and finances safe. The challenge is remembering and managing all the login credentials.

Some people choose to record passwords in a notebook or spreadsheet, but this becomes inconvenient when you need to access accounts on-the-go. Others use their internet browser (e.g. Chrome or Safari) to save their passwords, which is convenient unless you need to access the accounts on multiple devices and browsers. Third-party password managers may offer the most flexibility, but they take time to setup and can come with a monthly cost.

Join us as we explore the options for creating, storing and using strong passwords. Tech Talks: Password Management (Apple) is a workshop for Apple devices that covers Apple Keychain and other third party password managers. Tech Talks: Password Management (Android) is for Android users that covers Google’s password options and third party managers. Check our the library's virtual calendar to view and register for upcoming events.
