Programs that provide congregate living arrangements and a wide variety of counseling and supportive services to facilitate the return to the community, if possible, of people who have received inpatient psychiatric treatment for acute or chronic mental or emotional disorders. Included are facilities that provide brief, intermediate and lifelong living arrangements in a sheltered environment.
