Mutual support groups whose members are people who are having difficulty controlling their compulsive sexual behavior and/or emotional attachments, and spouses, partners or other family members who are involved in relationships with individuals exhibiting this type of behavior. The groups provide emotional support, information and resources to help participants avoid destructive sexual behavior and achieve sexual sobriety, and may include Christian-oriented and secular 12-step groups as well as non-12 step groups.
