Alzheimer's Disease

A form of presenile dementia, which is due to the atrophy of the frontal and occipital lobes of the brain, which usually occurs in people age forty to sixty and which involves progressive, irreversible loss of memory, deterioration of intellectual functions, apathy, speech and gait disturbances, and disorientation.
