Description: Since 1891, The Salvation Army has been serving the Pajaro Valley, offering practical support, spiritual comfort, and a critical safety net to people in need. The Salvation Army serves thousands across Santa Cruz County each year through the broadest array of social services that range from providing food for the hungry, relief for disaster victims, outreach to the elderly and ill, transitional housing for those in recovery, and opportunities for underprivileged children.

Programs: The Watsonville Salvation Army provides a variety of social service offerings to the greater Pajaro Valley. Some services are offered by appointment only. For more information or to make an appointment, please contact: (831) 724-3922.

Food Assistance:
The Salvation Army offers daily meals (breakfast and dinner).

Emergency Assistance:
Includes weekly food pantry, utility assistance and referrals. As support allows, The Family Services department will also provide homeless prevention services and bus passes.

Seasonal Assistance
Holiday meals, toys for kids at Christmastime, etc., offered when available.
Missing Persons Assistance

The Salvation Army provides special services to reunite families and loved ones. For more information, contact our office.

Disaster Services:
This service assists both civilians and service provided during domestic emergencies and disaster such as fires, floods and earthquakes by providing food, water, and other necessities.

The Corner House, a 18-bed permanent housing facility dedicated to serving single mothers in drug and alcohol recovery. The program helps the mothers maintain sobriety and achieve independence while raising and supporting their children.

Spiritual counseling and fellowship programs are offered in addition to Sunday worship services.
