Description: Our compassionate staff build a warm, friendly, safe place for the Live Oak community to access resources that offer stability and hope for the future. Live Oak Community Resources is part of the Community Bridges family of programs.
Mission: The mission of the Live Oak Community Resources is to improve the quality of life and strengthen the individuals and families of Live Oak while promoting a safe and healthy community.
Programs: Counseling
Our professionally supervised counseling interns offer free counseling services to children, adults, and families.

Parent Education
Share the joys and challenges of parenting at our weekly parent-child playgroups in both English and Spanish, or join a group or individual workshop in Positive Discipline or the Positive Parenting Program (Triple P).

Youth Tutoring:
Our dedicated volunteers provide individualized after-school tutoring support in multiple subjects throughout the school year.

Public Benefits Enrollment Assistance:
Our advocates help with enrollment and reporting for government benefits and services (i.e. Cal-Fresh, unemployment, MediCal, CoveredCA). Our advocates can help you select the best healthcare program for you and your family.

Community Advocacy:
We seek to meet the needs of families through bi-lingual, bi-cultural support on both a long and short-term basis. Our drop-in advocacy support aims to help our community access resources and set goals to address issues such as housing, employment, education, domestic violence prevention, childcare and more.
