(12:00 PM-4:00 PM)
Location: Felton Branch
The Felton Library Festival will feature a temporary art installation of Fantastic Figures on the new library site made by local artists. The event will include art activities for families, food, information on the library project, and raffle drawing. Music will be by Ben Lonesome and the Highway 9er’s, Dave McClelland and Friends, Patti Maxine, and Young People’s Theater singers. The Festival and art installation are intended to celebrate our future Library and outdoor area. View site plans (construction slated to begin in 2018) and share ways for community members to become involved. Funds raised will go to Felton Library Friends, a chapter of Friends of the Santa Cruz Public Libraries, and will be used to enhance both the new library and the outdoor spaces. Raffle sales will begin mid-April, and the drawings will be at the Felton Library Festival on May 20.
