  Outside the Library: BookFlix Access from Home
  Scholastic BookFlix is an online literacy resource for children in grades PreK-3. It pairs classic video storybooks with related nonfiction eBooks (some in Spanish). It includes read-aloud supports so students can hear each book narrated and also hear definitions of key words. Specifically created to support non-, beginning and reluctant readers.

  Reader's Circle is a book club networking site serving the US, UK, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand with listings for local groups, author events, and phone chats. Searching the directory of listings for book clubs and reader's circles is free but requires registration. This resource also offers 189 authors who are available for over-the-phone visits with groups that have selected their book.
