If you do not have Library card:

If you live in Santa Cruz County, but do not have a library card, please call the Library's Telephone Reference Service at 420-5730. If you do not live within Santa Cruz County, contact your local library for an answer to your question.

For Questions about the Online Catalog:

If you have questions about using the online catalog, talk to a member of the Reference staff. Reference staff may be reached by calling the Library's Telephone Reference Service at 420-5730.

For Local History Questions and Obituaries:
If you live outside Santa Cruz County:

For up to five (5) articles or obituaries, enclose a check or money order for $5.00 made out to Santa Cruz Public Library. For more than five, add $1.00 per article.

In a letter, please give the complete citation for the article(s) you are requesting and mail it (along with a self-addressed, stamped envelope and your check or money order) to:

A staff member will contact you with any additional questions or fees.
