The Santa Cruz Public Libraries want to hear your ideas about how to make the libraries a great destination for teens. Join our Advisory Council of Teens (ACT) and let your voice be heard.
The ACT is open to Santa Cruz County young adults ages 12 to 18.

 

Advisory Council of Teens (systemwide)

The Advisory Council of Teens assists the system's Teen Services Librarian in providing library service to all Santa Cruz County young adults. Participating teens are from all over the county. For more information about the ACT or other volunteer opportunities call Sandi at 831-427-7706 ext 7665.

The ACT usually meets in the 2nd floor meeting room at the Downtown Library in Santa Cruz. Meetings are the 2nd Sunday of the month from 3:00 to 5:00 pm unless otherwise noted.

2013 ACT Meeting Schedule:

  • January 13
  • February 10
  • March 10 -- meeting will be held in the 1st floor meeting room. Ask at Reference Desk
  • April 14
  • May 5 -- Special date
  • June 2 -- Special date & time 1:00-5:00
  • July 14
  • August 11 -- Summer Reading Teen Raffle drawing
  • September 8
  • October 13
  • November 3 -- Special date
  • December 8
