The Traveling Pants
On Thursday, January 4, 2007, teens from the Garfield Park Library started three pairs of jeans on their three year journey to over 50 libraries across the United States, Canada and Australia.
At each library, program participants will sign the pants, and add a letter & photos to the scrapbook. After all libraries have participated, the Traveling Pants will make a final trip to each library to display the decorated pants & Travel Log before coming home to Santa Cruz in the Winter of 2010.
