  Library Services - Homework Centers

Several branches have "homework centers" for the use of young people. Homework Centers consist of a varying number of PCs, all of which are loaded with word processing and spreadsheet software as well as a selection of educational games. Homework Center PCs also provide students with internet access.

Each branch has its own rules for signing up and for length of time allowed. Call the branch in question to find out its requirements and rules--or see the specific branch page for more information.

Share Your Story

Join a community project, "We Have Stories To Tell" which unites children with family members, senior citizens and library staff to encourage the development of literacy skills through story telling. Children have the opportunity to make their own books in which they portray the story they are telling with illustrations of their own design.
