Santa Cruz County Roads and Bikeways--Statistics

As of March 27, 2002: Santa Cruz County had a total of 1,138 miles of roads. The total miles of bikeways was 152. The busiest highway was Highway 1 between Soquel Avenue and Morrissey Boulevard, carrying an average of 110,000 vehicles each weekday. The busiest county roads were:

• 41st Ave, north of Clares (45,136 per day)
• Mount Hermon Road, north of Scotts Valley Drive (33,301 per day)
• Graham Hill Road, north of Mount Hermon Road (32,847 per day)
• Laurel Street, east of Front Street (31,514 per day)
