You Can Do That @ the Library?!
We will help you to recycle it
The Libraries accept cell phones and chargers, PDAs, pagers, books, videos and music CDs--and some branches will even take your used batteries. Ask at your nearest branch to find out what they will accept for recycling.

Fun in the Sun at the Spring Book Sale
The Friends of the Santa Cruz Public Libraries invite you to join us at our Spring Book Sale -- this year we'll be in the great outdoors!
The sale will have a variety of quality books and a special selection of children's books. Enjoy refreshments from Penny Ice Creamery and Pleasure Pizza. Coffee Zombie Collective will also play lively music!

Also at the Book Sale -- don't miss the Pop Up Museum called Altered Books, hosted by the Santa Cruz Museum of Art & History. A Pop Up Museum is a temporary exhibit created by the people who show up to participate. Bring a book you've altered in some way-- painted, sculpted, re-written, reshaped, or more -- and share it at the Pop Up Museum.
