You Can Do That @ the Library?!
Share Your Story
Join a community project, "We Have Stories To Tell" which unites children with family members, senior citizens and library staff to encourage the development of literacy skills through story telling. Children have the opportunity to make their own books in which they portray the story they are telling with illustrations of their own design.

Also at the Book Sale -- don't miss the Pop Up Museum called Altered Books, hosted by the Santa Cruz Museum of Art & History. A Pop Up Museum is a temporary exhibit created by the people who show up to participate. Bring a book you've altered in some way-- painted, sculpted, re-written, reshaped, or more -- and share it at the Pop Up Museum.
