When you go into any branch with a photo ID and proof of your current Santa Cruz County address, you can get a free Library Card the first time you apply.

Want to play in the library after the doors are locked? Join us for the 2nd National Teen Lock-In on August 2 at the Scotts Valley Library! From 6pm until midnight teens ages 13-18 can compete with other teens all over the U.S. Talks are also scheduled with these authors: Marie Lu, Legend Trilogy; Andrew Smith, Winger; Dan Krokos, The False series; Bennett Madison; Jessica Brody, Karma Club; and Colleen Houck, Tiger Saga.
Permission forms must be signed by parent/guardian and returned to your local Santa Cruz Public Libraries’ branch in advance by Wednesday, July 31, 2013. Once permission forms are received, attendees can Pre-Register for the lock-in.
