Coat Drive through January 19th

SCPL News

The library is participating in a coat drive in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Help spread Dr. King’s civic spirit by donating your new or gently used coats, blankets, scarves, gloves, socks and new toiletries and hygiene products to local non-profit organizations.

Donations can be dropped off at the Scotts Valley, Live Oak, and Downtown branches during regular open hours. Items can also be donated at the Staff of Life, The Santa Cruz Volunteer Center, and College 10 at UCSC.

No coats to give? Donate your time! Volunteers are needed to sort donations on January 21. Call (831)-427-5078 or email fovolunteer@scvolunteercenter.org to sign up.
