Big Read Kickoff

We're all set to kick off THE BIG READ: The Grapes of Wrath at the Museum of Art and History this Wednesday, February 27th. Join us at 5:30pm to munch and mingle with other Steinbeck enthusiasts. At 6:00pm, SCPL Director Teresa Landers will make introductions and proclamations with Mayor Hilary Bryant.
Willing Suspension Armchair Theater and Loose Cannon Theater will also make an appearance. Susan Shillinglaw, director of the Center for Steinbeck Studies at San José State University, will then make a keynote address and host a Q&A. Bring your questions!
This is just the beginning of BIG READ: The Grapes of Wrath. The next month will be filled with great events -- visit the BIG READ events page to find out more.
We thank the MAH, one of our Santa Cruz Reads project partners, for the use of the space.View similarly tagged posts: Local History, Events
