Summer Reading is coming soon!
Sign-ups for this year's Summer Reading Program start next week on Monday, June 11! Children, teens, and adults are encouraged to track their reading and attend programs at library branches. Children and teens will record the amount of time spent reading and earn summer reading dollars, which can be spent at the stores of participating merchants. And don't miss the Kids Only Booksale on July 29th!
For those in need of a little pre-reading entertainment, some of our local friends made a video about Summer Reading and the Reading Dollars program! You can see Ice Cream Fluster on YouTube, and we'll be featuring it on our Summer Reading page. The video will also be featured on Community Television of Santa Cruz County -- see the web schedule for channels 25/71 and 27/73 and look for Ice Cream Fluster!
