New Hours and Events in January
Increased branch hours begin January 3rd! A preview of the new schedule is below.

New Items Lists Now Available!
We're happy to announce that the much-requested New Items lists are now available! We're always adding materials to our collection. To see what items are newly available, visit the New Items page, which you can find under Books & More in the navigation bar, or by going to the catalog Resources page.
These lists have been created using the new catalog's "Bookbag" feature -- each new month has a set of bookbags with different types of items which are new to our library. If you'd like to learn more about Bookbags and how they work, take a look at the tutorial in the Resources section.
Thanks to everyone who has sent us in feedback and suggestions about how to improve your library experience. If you are curious what we're working on next, take a look at our Roadmap.

JobScout Pilot Program @ SCPL
Starting today, SCPL is participating in a pilot project called JobScout.
JobScout is an online social gaming platform designed to teach job seekers invaluable digital literacy skills. JobScout is designed to be a friendly entry point into the online world for all users despite their experience level with computers or the internet. JobScout's lessons will range from an introduction to the basic language of the internet to preparing and uploading a resume and everything in between.
While JobScout will be an online platform, offline resources such as JobScout instruction sheets will also be available in branch libraries.
