Free Brown Bag Business Seminars!
Our popular brown bag series for business owners is back! This year's theme is "Business 2.010". Once a month, from 11:45am- 1pm, we will look at important, timely topics in the business community. The workshops will be led by experienced Santa Cruz business people.
The workshops are free but you must pre-register to attend.
Browse the entire list of seminars and sign up today! Links to registration forms for each workshop are also available from the Library's Calendar of Events.
To get information about what took place at seminars that have already passed, take a look at the "Brown Bag" blog.
We hope you can join us at the Central Branch Library for one of these workshops!
Survey Closed! Setting Service Priorities for the Future
The Santa Cruz Public Libraries' plan for the future will set service priorities for a reduced budget. The library needs help from all members of the community, whether you use the Library or not, in setting those priorities.
From January 16, 2010 to February 6, 2010, a brief Community Input Survey will be available at all Library Branches and online through the Library's website. Friends of the Santa Cruz Public Libraries will also be available with surveys at selected grocery stores in the county throughout the survey period--see the document below for a list of locations and times.
For more information, contact Janis O'Driscoll at (831)420-5662 or email@example.com
Tax season is here once again. For links to state and federal tax forms, see our Tax Forms and Information page. Project SCOUT is also available for in-person help at a variety of locations around the County. See the links to their schedules below.
Munching with Mozart and Central Book Discussion Calendar Error
The January 2010 Friends of the Library Newsletter was printed and mailed with a calendar error. Munching with Mozart and the Central Branch Book Discussion Group were incorrectly listed for Thursday January 14th. The correct day for both of these great programs is Thursday January 21st. We apologize for the mistake, and we hope you can make it!
