SCPL News

In January 2011, our new literacy program, Tales to Tails, will launch. Children can sign up for a private twenty-minute slot to read to an attentive certified therapy dog.

Tales to Tails will launch at the Capitola Branch Library on Wednesday, January 19. Children can sign up for a reading slot that day from 3-5pm or sign up for a slot on Saturday, February 5 between 9:30am-10:30am. The program will continue on the THIRD Wednesday of the month and the FIRST Saturday of the month at the Capitola Branch.

For more information, see Tales to Tails on the Kid's Page. If you have any questions or want to sign up for a slot for your child, please call Melanee Barash at 427-7706, ext. 7672.
